DeepMind puts SIMA 2 into EVE Online and No Man's Sky through partnerships with ten game studios
DeepMind announced partnerships with Fenris Creations (EVE Online, EVE Vanguard, EVE Frontier), Hello Games, Coffee Stain Studios, Foulball Hangover and others, using SIMA 2 (built on Gemini) as an interactive companion that reasons and converses in real time inside 3D worlds. EVE is the flagship research target because its persistent player-driven economy exercises continual learning, multi-agent dynamics, and planning horizons measured in months. The partnership has already shipped Aura Guidance, a Gemini-powered onboarding system for new EVE players, with agents being developed in offline instances first.
