Groq Raises $350M at $3.5B, Half Its 2025 Valuation, With NVIDIA in the Round
Groq closed a $350 million round led by Disruptive at a $3.5 billion valuation, roughly half the $6.9 billion it commanded in September 2025 before NVIDIA licensed its inference technology and hired founder Jonathan Ross along with much of the senior team. NVIDIA itself participated in the new round. Groq is now positioning as a data center operator rather than a chip designer, planning to exceed 200MW of inference capacity by 2027.
