The Verge reports Google will let users customize their Discover feed by describing in natural language what they want to see, with AI tuning the feed accordingly, rolling out in the Google app in the coming days. It converts a purely behavioral recommender into a prompt-steered one. Paired with the same-week preferred-source button, Google is moving feed control toward explicit user declaration on two fronts at once.
