CROSS-CATEGORY: The Agent Control Plane Is Now a Priced Category, Selling Governance Over Agents Employees Already Built
Decawork (Y Combinator S26) launched at Product Hunt #2 on Aug 24 selling IT teams a way to take agents employees built in Claude Code or Cursor, deploy them with company credentials, and centrally control access, oversight and retirement. Product Hunt's similar-product graph on that listing names four more entrants doing versions of the same job: Kastra (runtime authorization evaluating every agent action in under 1ms, #3 on Product Hunt July 22), Phinq, SolonGate and Permit.io. The pitch across all of them is identical and worth noting: the agent already exists inside your company, and what is being sold is the ability to see it and switch it off.
