PaymentKit Took Product Hunt #1 Selling Billing That Survives a Merchant Account Getting Shut Down
PaymentKit hit #1 on Product Hunt Aug 24 with 237 votes, routing payments across multiple processors, vaulting card tokens independently of any one of them, and keeping subscriptions billing if a merchant ID gets terminated. Maker Diego Vidal says it came out of solving this internally across a portfolio of subscription brands. Its own listing names Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Polar and Dodo Payments as alternatives, which frames the pitch precisely: the product is not a better processor, it is insurance against depending on one.
