Bumply Sells Dependency Updates as a Native Mac App With a $24.99 Perpetual License
Elias Ripari launched Bumply at Product Hunt #8 on Aug 24 with 87 votes, a native macOS app for keeping npm, pnpm, Yarn and Bun projects current that shows every command before running it, backs up manifests and lockfiles, and rolls back on failure. It is free for three projects with no time limit, then $24.99 one-time for a perpetual license covering three Macs with 12 months of updates and optional renewal. Both halves are counter-trend: a local native app instead of a CI service, and a perpetual license instead of a subscription, in a category Dependabot and Renovate give away.
