TessIndex is a capability-verified identity system for the agent economy, arguing that existing registries provide naming and discovery but no persistent identity anchor, so capability claims stay self-declared and agent performance cannot be tied back to creator or project. The dual-plane design records compact commitments for identity, ownership and verification on a blockchain while centralized servers hold dynamic metadata for discovery, commerce and reputation, with a predicate-based verification process supplying cryptographic capability proof.
