LatticeDB Cut Two Releases in 11 Hours After Hitting Hacker News at 163 Points, an Embedded Graph Database Written in Zig
jeffhajewski/latticedb reached 163 points on Hacker News on August 25 pitched as SQLite but for graph databases, and the maintainer responded by tagging v0.11.1 at 13:09 UTC on the 25th and v0.12.0 at 00:05 UTC on the 26th. It is a single-file embedded knowledge-graph store in Zig with both vector search and full-text search built in, aimed squarely at AI and RAG applications that want a graph without standing up Neo4j. At 403 stars and created 2025-12-20 it is small, but the combination of embedded, single-file, graph and vector in one binary does not have an obvious incumbent.
