Generalist raised nearly $200 million led by 8VC per a regulatory filing, extending the $400 million Series B that Radical Ventures led in June at a $2 billion valuation and bringing the round to $600 million total. The company was founded in 2024 by ex-DeepMind researchers Pete Florence and Andy Zeng with former Boston Dynamics engineer Andrew Barry, building cross-embodiment robot foundation models.
