hnstats.com Measures the AI Share of the Hacker News Firehose, Not the Front Page
A Show HN posted about 22 hours ago tracks what proportion of new HN submissions carry AI in the headline, with a 'days since AI' reset counter and breakdowns across 7-day, 30-day, YTD, 1-year, 5-year and all-time windows plus splits for Show HN, Ask HN and links. It offers a strict count (case-sensitive standalone 'AI', so 'OpenAI' does not count but 'AI-powered' does) and an extended count adding 'artificial intelligence' and named models and vendors. Data comes from Algolia HN Search plus the Firebase API with history precomputed back to 2007, and it deliberately measures /newest rather than the front page.
