AccuKnox announced AgentZ on 2026-08-27, bundling the agent, its execution environment, tools, workflows, permissions and governance into one platform so enterprises can move agents to production without assembling separate components. The company frames the positioning deliberately, saying AgentZ is an AI platform with security built in through zero-trust controls, tool-level permissions and sandboxed execution, not a security product that happens to use AI. That is a cloud-security vendor walking out of its own category to sell agent infrastructure, which is the same category-crossing move PostHog made from analytics into coding agents this week.
