Meta Tests a Consumer AI Agent, Reportedly Codenamed Hatch, Trained on DoorDash, Etsy, Reddit and Yelp
Finextra reported Meta is testing a consumer AI agent that books appointments, posts to social media, fills out forms and makes purchases on the user's behalf. The Information reported August 24 that the offering, known internally as Hatch, could debut within weeks and has been trained to operate sites including DoorDash, Etsy, Reddit, Yelp and Outlook. This is distinct from Meta Business Agent, which launched June 3 for merchants and started billing at $2.00 per million tokens on August 1.
