Adobe Puts Photoshop's AI Tools Behind a Separate 'AI Assisted Editor' View
The Verge·low signal
Adobe is rolling out a Photoshop beta with an optional interface mode called AI Assisted Editor that collects the application's AI features into a dedicated view rather than scattering them through the existing panels. Making it a separate opt-in surface rather than a rewrite of the default workspace is a notable retreat from the pattern of bolting generative features into every existing tool. For a professional tool with two decades of muscle memory riding on its layout, segregating the AI is the conservative call.
