Cline Desktop v0.0.20 ships a code-signed Windows build and renders MCP and browser screenshots inline

Released 2026-08-28, Cline Desktop now has a code-signed x64 Windows installer on the same auto-update feed as macOS. Tool results returning images, meaning screenshots from browser or MCP tools, render as clickable inline images with a carousel instead of raw base64 text. Background processes no longer pop visible console windows, the MCP settings path falls back to `USERPROFILE` when `HOME` is unset, and session search moved to the Cmd/Ctrl+P command bar with server-ranked results instead of a sidebar dialog that first loaded every session into memory.
