Linear says agents now create 50% of the work in its product, up from 3% a year ago

Linear disclosed that agents are installed in 95% of its paid workspaces and that the share of work items created by agents rather than humans went from 3% to 50% over twelve months, a 17x move. It also reported that issues with a pull request attached by someone in engineering, product or design grew sevenfold since January 2026, which is the signal that agent-created work is closing rather than piling up.
