Halo Neuro, a company building speech restoration for ALS and post-stroke aphasia, open-sourced sopro-v2-turbo under Apache 2.0: 120M parameters, zero-shot voice cloning from a short reference clip, and English, German, French and European Portuguese. On an Apple M3 CPU it hits 0.24 RTF offline and 0.21 RTF streaming with ~300ms time-to-first-audio, and 0.07 RTF on an H100, with ONNX builds for both local and in-browser deployment. This is a rare TTS release small enough to ship client-side without a GPU budget.
