ooocooc/open-skill-sunset, created 2026-08-26 and at 84 stars with a 2026-08-30 push, runs a local read-only audit over agent instruction files to flag stale and generic directives. It names a problem that the skill-repo flood has created but nobody was tooling for: instruction files accumulate rules that no longer match the codebase, and agents follow them anyway. Read-only and local, so it costs nothing to run against an existing repo.
