Claude Code 2.1.252 fixes a Bash failure mode that only showed up on some Macs
2.1.252 fixes Bash commands failing with "task output swap refused (tasks dir moved or linked)" on some Macs, "always allow" not persisting in a project with no .claude/settings.local.json yet, Remote Control sessions hosted by Claude Desktop or VS Code stalling for minutes after a tool finished on a degraded claude.ai connection, and background task notifications with very large failure output (a git error on a full disk, for example) pushing the conversation past the API request size limit. It is a four-line patch release on top of 2.1.251's much larger security-heavy list, so it is worth applying but does not change anything structural.
