Copilot CLI v1.0.83-2 lets a custom agent list several models in priority order and pin changes to that list
Released 2026-09-02, the update lets custom agents specify multiple entries in `model`, tried in order until one is available to the user, with `model-policy: required` keeping any model change confined to that list. The same release adds `claude-fable-5.1` support and restricts Linux sandbox network egress to the configured proxy, which requires slirp4netns, util-linux 2.35+, iptables and `/dev/net/tun` access.
