CROSS-CATEGORY: Four Same-Day Launches All Attack Subscription Billing for Agent Infrastructure
On September 2 four separate projects shipped that each remove a recurring bill from the agent stack: Monid sells runtime pay-per-call access to 1,800+ APIs with no per-vendor subscription, SandrPod runs the unmodified E2B and e2b-code-interpreter SDKs against your own infrastructure with two env vars, ToolJet's MCP server lets coding agents build internal tools instead of paying for a hosted builder, and PolyHelper's C1 orchestrates frontier models over consumer subscriptions you already pay for rather than metered APIs. None of the four sell autonomy; they all sell the removal of a seat or a plan. The common thesis is that the agent era's billable unit is a call, not a contract.
