The 50%-100% growth band collapsed from 46% to 25% in a single year, the largest single move in the dataset, and the 25%-50% band fell from 16% to 10%; sub-25% growers sit at +3%. ICONIQ framed this as AI not freezing headcount at hypergrowth companies, but the split is the finding: AI leverage shows up in the middle band, not at the top. The 2026 sample is N=57 against N=195 for 2025, so read the H1 figures as directional.
