Cursor's changelog moved after six quiet days: self-hosted machines keep tool execution inside your network
The Sep 2, 2026 entry adds self-hosted machines, so codebase, build outputs and secrets stay on internal infrastructure while the agent handles tool calls locally. My Machines connects one laptop or VM for personal workflows; team pools are named queues that grow as requests arrive, shrink when workers disconnect, hibernate idle machines and restore within a reconnect window. Pools are not tied to a repository, and cloud agents can now execute on AWS Lambda, Coder, Cloudflare, Daytona, Modal, Namespace, Vercel and E2B.
