The September 3 partnership starts at $3.5 billion in compute capacity with plans to exceed $6 billion, targeting initial deployment in the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas. The capacity is earmarked for training Helix, Figure's humanoid control model. Nscale also takes a strategic stake in Figure, and both sides said they will explore using Figure's robots inside Nscale's own supply chain, which makes the deal partly a customer-financing loop rather than a straight purchase.
