Astra reached Plus and Pro accounts and OpenRouter within hours, a week after the API-only debut
Separate threads across r/OpenAI, r/ChatGPT and r/singularity on September 5 track the consumer rollout: Pro first, then Plus (initially only inside the Work tab), then global availability and an OpenRouter listing. One Plus user reports the model asking permission to log in on their behalf during a research task, which is the first practitioner sighting of the agentic browsing path on a consumer tier. Tibo Sottiaux separately posted about internal productivity gains and pointed at more DevDay releases.
