Tech-worker displacement threads took three of r/singularity's top five slots in one day
'Things I was getting downvoted for in r/cscareerquestions 2 years ago' hit 1,728 upvotes and 448 comments, 'Tech workers on Reddit are in complete denial about the reality approaching us' hit 487 with 532 comments (more comments than upvotes, a contested-thread signal), and 'Electrical engineering might be the next profession to get absolutely wrecked by AI' hit 65 with 124 comments. The first thread also surfaced on Hacker News twice and on r/SaaS. The through-line is the argument shifting from whether displacement happens to which adjacent engineering discipline is next, with EE named specifically off Astra's capabilities.
