IdeaAMBIG benchmarks whether a research idea is specified well enough for an agent to implement it
arXiv 2609.10539 (2026-09-09) defines 'codification readiness' as whether a method specification carries enough methodological information for a competent implementer or coding agent to build the intended method without unsupported assumptions. The team constructs evidence-grounded specifications and their supported resolutions from papers, isolating implementation-critical gaps from ordinary prose vagueness. This is the spec-quality half of spec-driven development being made measurable rather than asserted, which is the piece most SDD tooling currently skips.
