Cognition Ships SWE-2, Devin Voice and "Fusion" in Three Days, Four Months After Its Valuation Went From $10B to $48B
Cognition posted SWE-2 on September 10 ("pushing the Pareto frontier of capability and inference cost" across multiple effort levels) and Fusion in Devin Desktop and CLI on September 11, then launched Devin Voice on Product Hunt the same day at #8 with 120 votes under the tagline "You say it, Devin ships it." Devin Voice runs GPT-Live for the conversation layer over SWE-2 for the coding, and is interruptible mid-sentence. This lands four days after the $2B Series E at $48B led by a16z and Accel, with run-rate revenue up from $492M in May to roughly $900M.
