Cursor ACP Now Live in JetBrains IDEs — IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm Support

Cursor joined the Agent Client Protocol (ACP) registry and is now available as a coding agent inside JetBrains IDEs, requiring only an existing Cursor paid account — no JetBrains AI subscription needed. Users get the full Cursor model lineup (Claude, GPT, Gemini) with semantic codebase indexing inside their existing IDE. ACP is an open protocol jointly developed by JetBrains and Zed to make AI coding agents IDE-portable.
