Shanghai AI Lab Post-Trains GLM-5.2 Into Atria Dawn, a 744B Agentic MoE Under MIT License

Shanghai AI Laboratory's InternLM org published Atria Dawn Preview on Hugging Face with MIT-licensed weights and a 1M-token context window, with the repo live September 11 and an FP8 checkpoint following September 12; the accompanying arXiv paper landed September 14 with 143 signed authors and 769 task records from 56 participants. It takes Z.ai's 744B-parameter GLM-5.2 base and post-trains it for research loops: problem analysis, tool use, code implementation, experiment execution and failure recovery. Two different post-trainings of the same open base now compete, which is a cheaper path to a frontier-class agent than pretraining one.
