Meta announced WhatsApp Business Tools MCP on September 15, letting developers point Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT at account setup, messaging template creation, testing and troubleshooting in natural language. The work previously required bouncing between the Developer Console, Business Manager, the API reference and an editor; the MCP server exposes those operations in a form the agent can discover, call and chain.
