Tip: Copilot CLI custom agents can now opt into AGENTS.md, copilot-instructions.md and CLAUDE.md

v1.0.86-1, published 2026-09-16T21:30Z, adds `include-custom-instructions: true` to custom agent frontmatter, which makes that agent read the repository instruction files it was previously isolated from. Until now a Copilot CLI custom agent ran without your repo conventions unless you duplicated them into the agent definition. The same release fixes resumed sessions discarding marketplace plugins and skills after a reload when configuration read or validation failed, and changes the status row to say it is waiting for background shells rather than "Working" when a turn ends with a dev server still attached.
