openai-python 3.15.0 exposes prompt-cache prewarming and managed Responses WebSocket sessions
Released 2026-09-18 00:52 UTC, v3.15.0 adds prompt-cache prewarming (#3888), managed Responses WebSocket sessions (#3887), agent session model settings (#3882), compaction progress events (#3866) and audio-mini model choices (#3886). Generated SDK releases surface new API surface before the docs or the announcement do, and prewarming plus compaction progress events both point at long-running agent sessions as the shape OpenAI is building the Responses API around.
