Skillsync (YC W26) Launches to Make Claude Code, Codex and Cursor Sessions Portable, Turning the Best Ones Into Reusable Skills
Skillsync ran a Launch HN on September 17, pitching local-first capture of every Claude Code, Codex and Cursor session already on a machine, making them searchable, shareable by URL, and convertible into reusable skills any agent can load. Founded by ex-Juspay Rust engineers Narayana Aaditya Ganeshkumar and Nishant Joshi, it raised $500K from Y Combinator and Character Capital and pivoted from a tool that identified strong engineers by their GitHub code. The bet is that the durable artifact of agentic work is the session transcript, not the diff, which makes session portability a new lock-in surface that no incumbent devtool currently owns.
