Kastle Raised $24M From Insight to Sell Banks an AI Workforce That Runs On Top of Their Legacy Core Instead of Replacing It
Kastle announced a $24M Series A on September 17 led by Insight Partners, with Y Combinator and Commerce Ventures returning and Fifth Wall joining. Its agents have processed more than $1.8 billion in consumer lending transactions and are designed to execute high-volume workflows across a bank's existing core systems and keep the system of record current, rather than requiring a multi-year core migration. The positioning is a deliberate rejection of the rip-and-replace AI-native pitch, and it is the same wedge Kastle's investors describe as a third path between legacy limits and risky replacement.
