Version 2.1.79 adds /remote-control in VSCode to bridge an active Claude Code session to claude.ai/code for continuation from a browser or phone, closing the desktop-to-mobile continuity gap. Also ships AI-generated session titles from first-message context, a --console flag for Anthropic Console API billing auth, and a critical fix for claude -p hanging when spawned as a Python subprocess without explicit stdin. Startup memory usage reduced ~18MB across all scenarios; SessionEnd hooks now correctly fire when using interactive /resume to switch sessions.
