xAI released Grok 4.7 on 21 September, built on a new larger base model with extended RL training aimed at tasks that run for hours, and claiming better self-verification and long-context management. Published scores: 46.3% on CursorBench 4.0, 71.0% on DeepSWE v1.1, 64.0% on EEBench, 62.4% on LatchBio's biosafety benchmark and 19.6% on the Harvey legal agent benchmark. It is available through Cursor, Grok Build, the Grok API and routers; Vercel's AI Gateway is discounting it 40% through 27 September, and a fast variant costs 2x for 2x output speed.
