In his day-one head-to-head, YouTuber Nate Herk picked Opus 5.5's output on seven of eight usable tasks, at nearly three times Sol's cost and about three more hours of runtime. Browser Use reported the opposite result on its browser-agent benchmark, with Sol at medium effort scoring 66.9 to Opus 5.5's 59.4 while costing 3.5x less. The model to pick depends on the workload, and quality per dollar now splits by task type.
