Figma Make RCT With 100 Participants Finds About 20% Faster Design Task Completion, Mostly for Product Managers

In a randomized controlled trial, 50 product designers and 50 product managers attempted three standardized design tasks with or without Figma Make. Among completers, access cut completion time by about 20%, with larger gains for PMs than for professional designers. Designer benefits looked task-dependent. It is one of the few RCTs on prompt-to-design tools, but the effect is measured only among completers.
