Ramp Launched AI Accounts Receivable, Moving Onto BILL's Territory on the Revenue Side
Ramp Blog, corroborated by PR Newswire and PYMNTS·high signal
On September 22 Ramp made Ramp Accounts Receivable generally available after a summer beta. It turns uploaded contracts and POs into invoice drafts, writes collections follow-ups from payment history and the collections policy, auto-matches incoming payments to open invoices, and recognizes revenue in the right period while syncing to the ERP. Ramp now covers both spend and revenue, which puts it head to head with BILL, until now the default pick when a team wanted AP and AR on one platform. Each step is built as 'AI drafts, finance reviews', not full autonomy.
