Legal publisher C.H.BECK led a Series C of more than €100M in Berlin-based Noxtua and became majority shareholder. It is the largest investment in the publisher's 260-year history. Austrian publisher MANZ joined, and law firms CMS and Dentons sold their stakes. Noxtua has more than 30,000 users and about 100 staff. Taken with Legora's round, this shows European legal AI splitting two ways: VC-backed platforms and publisher-owned tools built on proprietary legal content.
