CausalLoss-Fin: agent-only blame attribution misfiled 100% of infrastructure faults and charged $114,383 to the agent

Paper 2609.25960 replays payment-exception episodes and treats dropped settlement messages as intervenable causes alongside agent actions. Across 545 planted episodes, agent-step attribution methods blamed the agent for every infrastructure fault. Fixing what they named recovered 0.0% of the loss, while fixing a minimal sufficient message set recovered 100%, and 27.8% of episodes did not decompose additively. If your post-mortems only replay agent decisions, they will blame the agent for infrastructure failures.
