On 2026-09-22 Numeric pitched a context-preserving ledger as an ERP replacement, Chamelio raised $26M to replace storage-first CLM, and ZoomInfo launched Talent Autopilot, which swaps Boolean search over a candidate database for agent reasoning over job descriptions and ATS requisitions. All three argue the old system of record holds too little context for agents to act on, and all three offer an incremental path: Numeric runs module by module beside NetSuite, and ZoomInfo plugs into existing ATS workflows. That contradicts this week's SaaStr argument that a system of record protects retention, because these vendors are attacking the record itself.
