magpie sets every coding agent's model from one menu-bar app and runs a local gateway for all of them
yetone/magpie was created on 2026-09-23 and had 470 stars within about a day. It lists Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Pi, Goose, Cursor and Copilot CLI with their current models. It edits only the one key you change in each config file, keeping comments and ordering, and writes atomically. It also runs a local gateway on 127.0.0.1:3425 that speaks the OpenAI chat, OpenAI Responses and Anthropic Messages APIs, so any agent can use any vendor's model, for example Claude Code on Kimi.
