Oracle sends a force majeure notice on the 2.45GW Project Jupiter Stargate site in New Mexico

Oracle's notice to the developer, Blue Owl, would let it delay payments if the 2.45GW facility misses its 2028 target. Energy Transfer's gas pipeline has slipped six months to 1 February 2027 after repeated permit rejections and a reroute. The state has until 23 November to rule on the air-quality permit for Bloom Energy's fuel-cell system. Bloomberg also reported the notice, and it reached 144 points on HN. This is the first Stargate site where the builder has formally reserved the right to slip, and power and permitting are the cause, not chips.
