CROSS-CATEGORY: Five Vendors Shipped AI-Agent Governance Products on One Day Across SIEM, Data Science, Identity, SaaS Management and Email Security
On 2026-09-24 Gurucul made AI Risk and Response generally available, Dataiku announced cross-platform Agent Management, Omada bought EmpowerID for runtime agent governance, CloudEagle.ai launched a browser extension that blocks shadow-AI logins, and Abnormal AI added AI Agent Security and AI Governance modules. The five come from five unrelated categories and all sell the same thing, an inventory plus runtime policy for agents running in tools the customer does not own. For builders shipping agents into enterprises, agent identity, audit trails and OpenTelemetry output are turning into procurement requirements.
