Anthropic launched Claude Dispatch on March 17, 2026 as a research preview, enabling users to start, monitor, and redirect Cowork agent tasks running on their desktop computer from a mobile device. Pro and Max plan users get a persistent agent thread accessible across Claude Desktop and iOS/Android, closing the loop on unsupervised background agent workflows. This is the first mobile-to-desktop handoff primitive for consumer AI agents from a major lab.
