US prosecutors indicted Supermicro co-founder Yih-Shyan 'Wally' Liaw and two others for conspiring to sell $2.5B in Nvidia-powered servers to a Southeast Asian front company that then repackaged $510M of banned chips for Chinese customers. Liaw and one co-conspirator were arrested; a third remains a fugitive.
