CUBE: A Standard for Unifying Agent Benchmarks
CUBE (Common Unified Benchmark Environments) proposes a universal protocol built on MCP and Gym that allows any benchmark to be wrapped once and evaluated anywhere, eliminating the 'integration tax' where each new benchmark requires custom scaffolding. Separates task, benchmark, package, and registry concerns into distinct API layers so any compliant platform accesses any compliant benchmark for evaluation, RL training, or data generation without custom integration. The 26-author paper from March 16 issues a community call to standardize before platform-specific fragmentation deepens.
