Design-OS: Specification-Driven AI Agent Framework Automates Engineering System Design from Requirements to Validated Output

Design-OS uses structured specification layers to drive AI agents through mechatronic, control, and embedded system design workflows — replacing ad hoc iteration with requirements-traceable agentic exploration validated against formal constraints. Demonstrated on a complete control systems design case from specification input to validated output. Extends agentic AI into hardware and systems engineering, a domain previously resistant to agent automation due to formal correctness requirements and multi-domain constraints.
