VideoSeek introduces a tool-guided frame selection strategy where video agents use seeking tools to jump to relevant segments rather than processing frames greedily from start to finish. The approach improves performance on long-horizon video QA benchmarks while reducing computational overhead by avoiding dense processing of irrelevant footage.
